New Maps, Cars, and More Are Coming to Rocket League

More customizable options are coming to Rocket League.

After recently revealing that Rocket League has been downloaded over 4 million times already, Psyonix has announced that they will be releasing the Supersonic Fury DLC Pack next Aug as well as a free update.

Starting with the Supersonic Fury DLC pack, it will include two brand new battle cars. These two cars are the Dominus,  a care modeled after American muscle cars, and the Takumi which is modeled after souped up Japanese sports cars. Both vehicles include six decals for customization each. These vehicles will be exclusive to the Supersonic Fury DLC pack, which also comes with two new rocket boosts called Burnout and Nitrous, two new wheel sets, five new paint types and some more trophies. The Supersonic Fury DLC pack will cost $3.99/£3.99/€3.99.

On the PlayStation Blog, they also revealed that they will be releasing a free update which will add a bunch of new content including Rocket Leagues first new map called Utopia Coliseum. The update will also include more than 70 new country flags and a Spectator Mode so players will be able to watch live matches. The new Spectator Mode”controls will be similar to the controls used in the games Replay Viewer too.

The free update will also include updated Goal explosions, Demolitions, as well as a brand new song called “Firework”, which will be by electronica group Hollywood Principle.
