PlayStation Celebrates the Spring with 8 Weeks of Games

Playstation is ushering in the spring with one new game a week for eight whole weeks. How does Shovel Knight or Bastion on your PS4 sound?

Ah, spring. The weather warms, the sun shines, flowers bloom. What could be better? Well, how about PlayStation’s 2015 Spring Fever sale? Sony has kinda revealed that a new digital-only game will be released on the PlayStation Store each week for eight week, along with a game or movie franchise on sale. If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you’ll get a 10% discount off the regular price of each game. The games in question, in order of release, are:

 March 3-Helldivers (PS4, PS3, Vita) 

March 10-Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number (PS4, PS3, Vita)

March 17-Jamestown+ (PS4)

March 24-Metal Slug 3 (PS4, PS3, Vita)

March 31-Axiom Verge (PS4)

April 7-Bastion (PS4)

April 14-Titan Souls (PS4, Vita)

April 21-Shovel Knight (PS3, PS4, and Vita)

If you buy Helldivers, Hotline Miami 2, Shovel Knight, Metal Slug 3, or Titan Souls once on any platform, it’ll be available to you thanks to Cross-Buy. Bastion and Axiom Verge will have Cross-Buy retroactively when their Vita versions arrive later in the year. The movie and game franchises on sale, in order of release, are:

March 3 – Lego (games), The Hobbit (film)

March 10 – Saints Row (games), X-Men (film)

March 17 – Assassin’s Creed (games), Transformers (film)

March 24 – God of War (games), Spider-Man (film)

March 31 – Batman (games and film)

April 7 – Dragon Age (games), Lego (film)

April 14 – Grand Theft Auto (games), Planet of the Apes (film)

April 21 – Call of Duty (games), Taken (film)
