Avalanche Studios has officially released their very first explosive trailer for Just Cause 3.
The Firestarter trailer is a quick, almost two minute video that shows a massive amount of fiery explosions followed by the series’ protagonist, Rico Rodriguez, free-falling from the sky into a rocky canyon where he then opens up his wing suit and soars out of frame.
“With over 400 square miles of complete freedom from sky to seabed and a huge arsenal of weaponry, gadgets and vehicles, prepare to unleash chaos in the most creative and explosive ways you can imagine,” the game is described as over at JustCause.com. Set on the island republic of Medici, Rico Rodriguez is tasked to liberate his homeland of the ruthless dictator, General Di Ravello, no matter the cost.
Although there hasn’t been any actual footage of gameplay seen yet, Just Cause 3‘s large abundance of beautiful screenshots will have to hold us over until the developers throw us another bone. The game has been promised to have “virtually zero limits,” whether you want to go on an explosive-killing rampage destroying everything in your path, or just find the crazy Easter Eggs that Avalanche Studios always leaves hidden throughout the the game, the choice is yours.
Just Cause 3 is currently set for release in the 2015 Holiday season on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
