The impressive developers over at Hi-Rez Studios are on the prowl for a new level designer. Do you have the experience necessary to join their elite team? Or do you know some one who does? If so you could be working on games such as SMITE, Tribes: Ascend, and Global Agenda. Now they have clearly defined what and who they are looking for.

 Hi-Rez Studios is hiring qualified 3D Level Designers to work at our studio in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Come join the creator of the critically acclaimed SMITE, Tribes: Ascend and Global Agenda as we enhance and expand our online action games.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement 3D levels using Unreal Engine 3
  • Create compelling and competitive layouts appropriate for Online Multiplayer game
  • Set-dressing using Environment Art assets

Required:

  • Portfolio demonstrating multiplayer level design using Unreal Engine 3
  • Thrives upon change. Comfortable prototyping and working with iterative development process.
  • Comfortable receiving constructive criticism and making artistic adjustments
  • Passion for games.
  • Strong work ethic.

Preferred:

  • AAA game development experience (shipped title)

Now that may seem like a tall order for some but judging by the quality of Hi-Rez’s games it is more than needed. Truly this is an opportunity for any budding games developer who is looking to break into the video game industry. With the recent success of SMITE any developer will be crazy about this.
