Gekko is the newest agent joining Valorant as he looks to initiate the offense, or defense, with his widely colorful cast of pets. Hailing from the US, the newest agent joins the star-studded cast from around the globe, with a bevy of talented individuals lending their voices to these characters. His arrival begs to question of who lends their talents to Gekko, and with that said, here’s everything you need to know about who voices Gekko in Valorant.
Who Voices Gekko in Valorant? Answered
Gekko’s voice actor has finally been revealed, with Alejandro Antonio Ruiz lending his talents to the newest Initiator. Ruiz took to Twitter to share his excitement on being in Riot’s tac shooter, and it also sheds light on why it usually takes awhile to figure out who voices newer characters, as they wait for Riot to give them the okay to share the news.
Ruiz has built up a resumé of work for himself over the past few years, with roles in The Callisto Protocol as various NPCs, Need for Speed Unbound as a cop, the upcoming Street Fighter 6, and many more roles across animation and audio books. Ruiz voices over the English and Spanish lines for Gekko, as the agent is of Mexican descent.
Although he is of Mexican descent, Gekko hails from the USA, specifically the sunny side of the US: Los Angeles. His arrival is headlined by his pets, who provide a new way for the Initiator to deal with planting the Spike and clearing corners of sneaky foes.
