While there’s a bit of menu hopping involved, here’s how players can access these momentum abilities. Be sure to go from Batcomputer > Abilities > Skills > Momentum Abilities. These are unique to each character, so experiment with combat in ways that are beneficial to you.

How to Trigger Momentum Abilities

Naturally, these unique character abilities require momentum to work. Players can build momentum through ranged attacks, general combat, silent or ambush attacks, counters, and the like. Every single playable character possesses different abilities.

And once they’ve gained enough momentum, they’ll have to trigger them. That’s the easy part. The difficult part will be to find which moves works for your character the most. Here’s a quick breakdown on how to utilize them.

  1. Build enough Momentum.

Once there, icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen will change.

  2. Hold R1/RB + assigned button.

This combination will trigger the character’s momentum ability.

Once more, these abilities vary. Some can be utilized from range while others require a closer, more hand-to-hand approach. For what it’s worth, Red Hood has quite the ranged Momentum ability.

And that’s that—everything players need to know in order to unlock and utilize momentum abilities in Gotham Knights. Figuring out which ones work best for their particular character will be crucial, not to mention fun to experiment with along the way.
