Getting All Ore Types in Coral Island

There are a total of three ore types available in Coral Island: bronze, silver, and gold. You’ll start off with collecting bronze ore at first, and eventually you’ll get more tools and other resources to start working your way towards silver and gold.

We’ll go over each ore type below and how to get them.

Bronze Ore

This is probably the easiest ore you can get, and you can get it as soon as you unlock the mine. This will happen naturally after an in-game day or so of playing. Once you unlock the mines, head over to them as shown on the map below. Inside you will view a cutscene and then will be able to enter the Earth mine.

From here you can obtain bronze ore! The ore is quite obvious as it looks like pieces of copper sticking out of a rock.

You can also find special nodes that give you more ore on the ground. They will appear as orange cracks that you have to hit a few times.

Silver Ore

To get silver ore, you will have had to complete the Earth mine (reached level 40). You will then have unlocked the second mine, the water mine. In there you will find silver ore nodes just like the bronze ore ones from the Earth mine.

Simply enter the water mine door instead of the Earth mine’s and look for rocks that appear as the bronze ones did with differently coloured pieces sticking out of them.

Gold Ore

Gold ore is definitely the most “complicated” right now as the mines are not yet updated to allow natural collection of it. To get gold ore you will instead have to buy it from the blacksmith as shown on the map below.

Unfortunately, this means that you need to spend some of your own gold. At least it is easier to obtain in the sense that you do not have to risk dying or passing out in the mines!

What to Do With Ore in Coral Island

After you have finished collecting ore, you can use it to make ingots for other recipes and for tool upgrades. While you do not need upgraded tools to obtain silver or gold ore, it makes mining much easier in general. Check out our guide here to learn how to make ingots in Coral Island.
