Changing Your MyCareer Affiliation in NBA 2K23

Players don’t have to wait long to get affiliated in 2K23, as it happens at the start of the game. That means you’ll be able to change your affiliation relatively early on, and as you’ll see below, it will not negatively impact your player if you do so within the first week of the Season. So, how do you go about changing yours? Well for starters, the map above is your ally. Here’s a step-by-step to changing your NBA 2K23 MyCareer affiliation:

  1. Access the Map with the Touchpad.

    You want to travel to either of the four corners of the map.

  2. Fast travel to reach your destination quicker.

    Fast traveling via the Subway icons will make your journey a breeze.

  3. Speak to the rep to request your new affiliation.

    Choices include: North Side Knights, Beats of the East, Western Wildcats, and South City Vipers.

As it turns out, players have quite a bit of control over their 2K career. From accessories on and off the court to building your brand, players find themselves at the center.
