Rerolling is a key part of a lot of gacha games, and that’s no different in Tower of Fantasy, either. Here’s a complete guide to rerolling in Tower of Fantasy.
Developed by Hotta Studio, Tower of Fantasy is a new shared open-world free-to-play game that lets you explore vast environments while taking on dungeons with other players to obtain loot. You can also farm currencies to pull for special weapons and character skins as well, which is pretty much the bread and butter of these games.
Tower of Fantasy Reroll Guide
First off, do note that this reroll guide is specifically for the global version of the game, and we’ll be referencing the various pre-registration rewards that global players will get when they start playing.
- Create an account on the startup screen.
This will require you to enter your email address and verify your details. One important thing to note is that there is no account deletion, which means that when you start the reroll process, you will need to bind your account to a new email address.
In addition to that, avoid using your preferred username until you’ve landed on an account you want to keep. Once you’re happy with your rolls, you can then head to the shop and pay a small amount of Dark Crystals to change your name. - Start the game, play through the tutorial, and follow the objectives until you reach the mission titled Ecological Station Intruders.
This is the mission where you’re tasked with talking to the Scrapper robot and fighting off several enemies. After dispatching the enemies, speak with the Scrapper again to unlock the gacha system.
- Claim your pre-registration rewards from your backpack.
You’ll get 5 Black Nucleus and 20 Gold Nucleus, which is enough for five pulls on the regular Prosperity of Ida banner, and two 10x pulls on the Weapons Galore banner.
- Spend all your currency on both of these banners.
Press Esc to bring up the menu, then select the Special Orders option to start pulling.
- Repeat the entire reroll process if you don’t get the weapons you want.
Compared to most other gacha games, the reroll process in Tower of Fantasy is a total pain. It’ll take around 20 minutes or so to get to Ecological Station Intruders, which means that the entire process will take about 25 minutes once you’ve done all your rolls. Add in the fact that you need to set up separate emails for the account creation each time, and you could be looking at hours of rerolling on launch day.
It’s worth noting that it is possible to use salted emails for your rerolling process. For instance, you could enter fakeemail+1@gmail.com, fakeemail+2@gmail.com, and so on and so forth. All verification emails will be sent back to your original email (i.e. fakeemail@gmail.com). However, be warned that there have been other gacha games that have banned accounts with salted or spoofed email addresses, and while it’s not necessarily a common occurrence, there aren’t any guarantees with Tower of Fantasy.
Reclaiming your account in the event that you lose access to it may also prove to be tricky if you use salted emails.
With that said, global players will also be gifted an SSR weapon selector when the game launches, so even if you don’t get the weapons you want when rolling, you’re guaranteed to have at least one SSR to start your journey with. Considering that the pity system is quite generous in this game as well, and we’d wager that your account will be just fine over time even if you choose not to reroll.
Who to Reroll For?
If you do decide to spend time rerolling your account, here are some of the SSR targets we’d recommend going for:
- Meryl
- Tsubasa
- KING
- Zero
- Samir
- Crow
Meryl, KING, and Crow are extremely easy recommendations here, as they’ll serve as really strong melee DPS options that will help you out a ton in the early game. If you land on any of them while rerolling, keep that account. You’re set.
Tsubasa and Samir are very solid ranged options that you can’t really go wrong with, either, while Zero is a bit more of an iffy choice, depending on how long you’re gonna stick with the game. The thing with Zero is that he likely won’t shine in the early game, but later on, he’ll become invaluable as one of the best support weapons. Zero is able to provide buffs, shields, and even healing in a pinch, and is a great fit in almost any team composition.
If you’re planning on sticking with Tower of Fantasy for the long haul, try to grab Zero in your reroll process, and use the SSR selector for a DPS character, or vice versa.
That’s all you need to know about how to reroll in Tower of Fantasy. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
