In Destiny 2, you have the option to create an ornament from Legendary Armor you’ve acquired, allowing you to create the perfect look while also preserving the armor stats and mods you love. Doing this will also help you complete an important questline in the game, which results in some nice rewards. How to Complete Tying It All Together in Destiny 2

In order to create an Ornament from Legendary Armor and finish the Tying It All Together quest in Destiny 2, you need to follow a few steps.

  1. Unlock the Loom.

    You can do this by talking to Ada-1, acquiring the BrayTech processor on Europa, and then activating the Loom.

  2. Open the Customization section in the Character menu, and go to Appearance Customization.

    This is at the bottom right of the screen next to Sparrow and Emotes.

  3. Select the Armor you want to make an ornament for and create it.

  4. Talk to Ada-1 and buy Large Spool of Synthstrand, then use that to get an Armor Synthesis bounty.

  5. Complete the bounty, claim its reward, and then head to The Loom.

    Once at The Loom, your Synthcord will be turned into Synthweave.

  6. Talk to Ada-1 and purchase the bounty that has you gather Synthstrand.

  7. Gather 150 Synthstrand and return to Ada-1.

    It takes about five hours to gather this much Synthstrand, but once turned in, the quest will be complete.
