There are actually two stages to completing this challenge. First, you need to locate the secret door itself, found in the very center of Shuffled Shrines. Next, you need to locate different runes scattered across the named location in order to solve the puzzle and open the door.

Fortnite Shuffle Shrines Secret Door Explained

The secret door can be found in the main building at the very center of Shuffled Shrines. You’ll know when you’ve found the right place, as you’ll see four pyramid-shaped runes sticking out of the floor with different symbols on each side.

When you find this, you’ll then need to solve a puzzle based around the symbols on the four runes. These are dotted around the different areas of Shuffled Shrines.

The solution to this puzzle appears to change each game of Fortnite, so you’ll need to find each of the hidden runes around Shuffled Shrines. We’ve listed their locations below.

Rune Symbol Location 1

The first Rune is found in the southwest corner, but the specifics will vary depending on your match.

This rune can spawn inside a stone building with stairs leading down.

Head down and you’ll find the rune in the corner of a well-lit room.

This rune can also spawn in just a hole in the ground with an ascender coming out of it. Fall down the hole in the floor and the rune is basically right in front of you.

Rune Symbol Location 2

Found in the northwest corner of the named location. The specifics of the buildings here will vary, as each match, Shuffled Shrines will be comprised of different buildings from previous Fortnite seasons. For us, it was by a half-destroyed stone wall. Other times it’ll be inside an actual stone building itself.
