Class Schedule in Sims 4: High School Years Explained

For the first time, the franchise has a class schedule that players must follow in the High School Years. Like the Get to Work pack, you must complete a set of objectives throughout the day to advance further in this new adventure. However, this version has a strict timeline and will result in Detention if you don’t consistently attend class.

Here is a breakdown of what your Sim’s school schedule will look like:

  • 8 a.m. – Go to school
  • 10 a.m. – First Period
  • 11 a.m. – Lunch Period
  • 2 p.m. – Second Period
  • 3 p.m. – End of school

When you first get to school in The Sims 4, you’ll have a free period to do whatever you want for two hours, such as claiming your locker, talking to your classmates, or having a quick workout before class begins. If you aren’t sure what to do, you can look at the top left corner to fulfill the minor quests for the day.

Once the bell rings, make sure you head to Classroom 1, the designated room for your teenager at campus. These classes only last for an hour, and your Sim can learn new skills in multiple subjects like Art (Painting), Business (Charisma), Foreign Language (Charisma), Computer Science (Programming), Social Studies (Writing), and more. You can also review your class schedule by clicking on your Sim and pressing the ‘High School…’ option, where you’ll get a complete overview of your week in the top right corner.

After the first period ends, you can explore High School Year’s Copperdale High and get lunch in the Cafeteria. From then on, you’ll go to the next class and complete your school day.

But even though school is over, you’ll still have a lot of things to do, including preparing for prom, finishing your homework, and after-school activities. Although, it is essential that you complete your assignment each day, or else you won’t excel in your educational journey.

Keep in mind that players must prepare for the weekly Friday Exams by either going to the Faculty Study Sessions on Wednesday (Classroom 2) or studying from your notes. Those who want to be rebel Sims can also prank others around the school and skip out on class, but make sure the principal doesn’t catch you.

All these options you can do in The Sims 4 High School Years will eventually lead you to the Graduation ceremony, where you can earn a High School Diploma and potentially receive the Honors or Valedictorian Honors title.
