With Destiny 2 currently in the midst of its Solstice of Heroes event, there is definitely plenty for players to get up to and be rewarded at the same time. With a brand new take on things in 2022, players will have to get familiar with the new things to do in order to benefit. For those that are wondering just how to get Silver Ash in Destiny 2, let us lend you a hand.
How to Get Destiny 2 Silver Ash
In order to get your hands on this precious new currency that can be used to upgrade your armor, you will have to transform Silver Leaves into Silver Ash in Destiny 2. This is only possible by completing the Bonfire Bash activity.
However, there is no proper exchange rate, so to speak, meaning that 1 Silver Leave does not equate to 1 Silver Ash, so your final count may vary. As long as you can get plenty of Silver Leaves, getting Silver Ash will be easy.
How to Complete Bonfire Bash in Destiny 2
Depending on the race you are going up against, things in the Bonfire Bash will change. However, at its core, these are the segments to keep in mind.
- Eliminate all interfering enemies.
Doing so will allow the Bonfire to start growing.
- Stoke the Bonfire.
This requires the killing of special enemies that are glowing. These foes are also marked on the mark, so kill them and grab the Igniter orbs. Throw these orbs into the Bonfire either up close or from a distance, and the more you throw, the better your rewards.
- Defend yourself.
Once you have stoked the Bonfire with enough Igniters, more enemies will show up. Eliminate them.
- Repeat the process.
The cycle of throwing Igniters and defending yourself will repeat for two more times, for a total of three waves.
- Defeat the boss.
Once the final boss spawns, simply kill it and then get next to the Bonfire. Your reward will drop from there, and your objective will be completed.
With the Silver Ash in your inventory, you will be able to upgrade your Candescent armor during the Solstice of Heroes event.
Now that you are aware of how to get Silver Ash in Destiny 2, you can forge ahead and enjoy the seasonal event with an objective in mind. For more on the game, be sure to check out the Witch Queen wiki or learn more about Sony’s acquisition of Bungie. For everything else, please search Twinfinite.
