If you want to see the beast’s mighty powers for yourself, here’s where to find the Warden in Minecraft.
How to Find the Warden in Minecraft
The Warden hides deep within the newest cave biome. Here’s a step-by-guide to locate the beast:
- Find the Deep Dark biome.
The first place you need to go is the Deep Dark biome, where the beast lives. You can also find the Warden in the Ancient City. Players will most likely find this area in Y -52 coordinates if you don’t know where to go. For a more in-depth explanation, check out our guide on how to find the Deep Dark biome.
Before entering this cave, craft a Night Vision potion or load up your inventory with torches. This area is exceptionally dark, so it’s a good idea to prepare for this. - Explore the biome.
Once you arrive at the mysterious location, venture around the Deep Dark. You may notice the Sculk Sensor, a blue seaweed-like plant with the power of illumination. After this sensor lights up, you will hear the eerie screeches of the Sculk Shrieker. This tool is the alert system the Warden uses to detect nearby intruders.
Another thing to look out for is the Sculk Sensor’s wavelengths, a set of light blue lines that direct you to the Warden’s location. - Triggering the Warden.
Trigger the Warden by walking around the sensor. Once you see the wavelengths spawn out four times, you should feel the rumble of the beast as it rises from the ground. Try to pinpoint the creature’s location by watching your surroundings.
- Finding the Warden.
The gigantic beast should now be in front of you, but be aware that this is a powerful protector. It can kill mobs with one hit and injure you immensely when unprepared.
