Wondering when does Venom 3 come out? Well, then, we have got all the details you need to know surrounding the release date for the third Venom movie, which sees Tom Hardy reprising his role as Eddie Brock, whose body is also home to our beloved extraterrestrial parasite Venom.
Venom 2: Let there be Carnage came to a close with a brief end credit scene which was just enough to keep the door open for Eddie and his parasite buddie’s adventures. With the next installation finally in the works, many want to know when the pic releases. So, without further delay, let’s get into it!
When Does Venom 3 Come Out?
Currently, Venom 3 has no official release date as such; however, Sony did reveal that the upcoming threequel started development in late April 2022. Another update about the film was shared directly by Venom star Tom Hardy himself.
Recently, the actor took to Instagram and apparently confirmed that the script for Venom 3 is complete. In a new Instagram post, Hardy shared an image of the front of Venom 3’s script. The actor co-wrote the movie’s script with Kelly Marcel, who is returning to the franchise after developing the story for Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
She has been involved as a writer in both the previous films, so it seems like the movie is in good hands. Being careful not to reveal much about the upcoming film, Hardy blacked out the Venom 3 title, as he drew the symbiote’s head over the top of it – with the parasite’s tongue creating a “3” at the end. The caption of the post also tells us nothing, so we will have to wait for more such teases by the crew.
With all of this in mind, chances are that Venom 3 might get a late 2023 or an early 2024 release date, however, this is just speculation and Sony could very well delay the release to mid-2024. The movie does not yet officially have a director and Hardy is the only cast member confirmed to return. So, it will be interesting to see what new characters are introduced.
