The Quarry Should You Break the Cabin Door Lock

For players checking out Supermassive’s The Quarry, there are always ample opportunities to make choices that can keep everyone safe or send them to an early grave. However, the impact of your choices may not always be significant until later on, and that can be a terrifying prospect for players to contend with. Breaking the Cabin Door in The Quarry

Your choice will be happening early on in Chapter 1, as Emma and Abigail look to gather their belongings before heading home for the summer. Players will have to make a decision to either break the lock to get their bags, or wait for the keys.

Our choice was to break the cabin door and get the bags, and you can nab an additional collectable in the form of a squeaky toy. This decision never came back to bite us, especially when events unfolded later on in the game.

What Happens Next?

The cabin will come back into play next at the halfway point of the story, where Ryan and Dylan head towards the radio shack to send out an SOS for help. Upon encountering the danger that is plaguing the camp, we see the rest of the counsellors making their way towards danger.

Warning the rest to get into the cabin with the PA announcement system, breaking the lock earlier on ensures their safety as they can get in without any trouble. It is likely that if players had not broken the lock earlier on, it would have delayed the other counsellors, and caused them to be in danger.

That is all you need to know about whether you should break the cabin door lock in The Quarry. Be sure to also check other helpful guides on Twinfinite to ensure you have the best time of your life in The Quarry.
