When you’re in possession of the ball, you’ll have two different ways of executing a perfect shot in Mario Strikers Battle League. The first requires you to have the ball at your feet already.

When you have it, hold A to charge a shot, then release the button once the red circle under the player is full. You’ll know it’s full once you see a blue circle flash around the player. If you wait too long after the circle fills, then it’ll just do a regular charged shot.

The second occurs when you receive the ball from a pass. This is a one-touch combo shot.

When the ball arrives at your player’s feet after the pass, press A to shoot as soon as it touches their foot.
