Developed by Wright Flyer Studios in conjunction with Square Enix, Echoes of Mana is a new mobile game that features characters from Square’s Mana series. The game also features a gacha system that allows you to pull various characters from across the series, and if you’re planning on trying to give your account the best possible start, here’s how to reroll in Echoes of Mana.
Free Pulls in Echoes of Mana
The point of rerolling is to make use of the free pulls that the game gives you when you’re first getting started. You’ll receive the following for starting a new account:
- One guaranteed three-star unit
- One guaranteed four-star unit
- Enough Spirit Crystals for two 10x pulls
After completing the tutorial, you’ll be able to pull a three-star unit for free, and you can reroll this selection as many times as you want. It’s not a huge deal as three-star units are fairly easy to get, so once you land on one that you like, feel free to move on.
Rerolling Your Account in Echoes of Mana
Now here’s where the fun starts. After claiming your three-star unit, you can then play around with the gacha system properly and try to get the characters you want.
- Click on the Gift Box on the right side of the screen.
- Claim all your freebies, which include a ticket that gives you a guaranteed four-star unit and enough Spirit Crystals for two 10x pulls.
- Go back to the home screen and click on the Harvest option.
- Tap on the arrow on the right side of the screen to use your ticket.
This will give you a random four-star unit currently available in the game.
- Tap on the arrow again, and use your Spirit Crystals to do two 10x pulls.
These pulls will guarantee at least one three-star unit, but four-stars are no longer guaranteed. Some of the three-stars may upgrade to a four-star in the middle of the pull, but don’t count on it.
- If you’re not happy with the pull, click on the Menu button on the top right corner, and choose the option that says Title Screen.
- On the title screen, click on User Support and delete your user data.
This will reboot the game, taking you back to the title screen again.
- Start up a new game, and this time, the game will give you the option to skip the tutorial, so do that.
- Repeat the pulling process, and wipe your data as needed until you get the units you want.
Which 4-Star Units to Pull For
The great thing about Echoes of Mana is that the rerolling system is pretty painless, especially since you can skip the tutorial after clearing it the first time around. However, it can still take hours of rerolling before you finally have the pulls you’re satisfied with.
The only four-star units available in the game right now are Riesz, Duran, Sumo, Angela, Shiloh, and Popoi. All five units are pretty powerful, but you want to aim for at least two of them to give yourself a good head start in Echoes of Mana.
We’d recommend going for Sumo, as he’s able to provide party healing and also serves as a great DPS character, and any other four-star that suits your fancy. Duran works well as a tanky character, while Riesz and Shiloh are fairly straightforward melee DPS characters. That leaves Angela and Popoi, who are ice and fire mages respectively, so pick whoever you prefer.
One thing to note is that if you do pull Angela, you might end up having to control her in battle as her AI tends to focus on physical attacks instead of making use of her powerful spells. Her kit is incredibly powerful, but you’ll likely only be able to get the most out of it in manual play.
That’s all you need to know about how to reroll your account in Echoes of Mana. Be sure to search Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
