If you’re planning on running an Int-based magic build in Elden Ring, you’re going to need some good armaments to go with it, and Lusat’s Glintstone Staff is one of the best staffs to keep in consideration. There are other great staffs, of course, but if you have your heart set on this one, here’s a breakdown of its stat requirements, perks, and where to find it.
Lusat’s Glintstone Staff Location in Elden Ring
It’s entirely possible to obtain the Staff early on, but depending on your skill level or how familiar you are with the game, this might be a little difficult to do so. Lusat’s Glintstone Staff is found in the Caelid region, in Sellia, Town of Sorcery.
You can either ride east to Caelid, or open the trap chest in the Dragon-Burnt Ruins in Limgrave to get transported there. Whichever method you choose, Sellia is located in the heart of Caelid, and we’ve indicated its location in the screenshot down below.
To actually get to the Staff, you need to light the brazier located in the northwestern corner of Sellia, which you can reach by traversing the overgrown roots and rooftops in the town.
Just below the brazier, you’ll find an archway that was previously sealed by a magical barrier, and you can head in there to encounter the Nox Swordstress and Nox Priest duo boss fight.
After getting past this optional boss encounter, you’ll find a chest at the end of the room. Open it to get Lusat’s Glintstone Staff.
Lusat’s Glintstone Staff Stat Requirements and Perks
Even if you’re able to get the Staff early, there’s just one problem: it has a stat requirement of 10 Str and 52 Int, which is a huge increase from the initial 32 Int stat that it had before the day one patch. This means that you’re going to have to pump tons of points into Int before you can even wield it effectively.
In addition to that, Lusat’s Glintstone Staff also increases FP consumption when casting spells, but enhances the potency and strength of your sorceries. While the increased damage is nice, the high FP consumption can be extremely draining for lower leveled characters who have yet to put enough points into Mind.
Even at higher levels, we definitely recommend trying to offset the FP consumption increase by using talismans like the Carian Filigreed Crest, which lowers FP consumed by skills.
That’s all you need to know about how to get Lusat’s Glintstone Staff in Elden Ring and its stat requirements. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
