How to Destroy Structures Above a Data Receiver and Collect the Data

The hologram audio log can be found here near the building with the pink roof.

Your objective, as you might have guessed, is now “Destroy structures above a Data Receiver, then collect its data.” Here are the areas around Camp Cuddle where you can find this objective.

If you look under the designated buildings in the area you’ll find the data receiver that looks like this:

Only problem the thing is blocked by the structure above it. While the audio that will play seems to suggest you can just break a hole above the Data Receiver to complete the objective, it is much easier to just destroy all of the base of the building to make it all disappear. This is a risky move as you’ll likely not be alone in the area. You will only have to do this the one time to complete the quest, so as long as you are quick you should be able to finish and escape.

Once the building has been entirely removed, you will be ready to collect the data and the Data Receiver should give you the prompt to do so.

There you have it, everything you need to know for how to destroy structures above a data receiver and collect the data in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2
