Want to know all the maps that are in Overwatch 2? Thankfully, there has been a little bit of information released for the game’s terrain that fans can expect in the next iteration of this beloved franchise. So let’s dive right on in!

All Maps in Overwatch 2

Currently, Blizzard has confirmed that the game will have eight new maps. While all of their exact layouts and oddities haven’t been detailed as of yet, we at least know that they’ll take place in the following locations:

  • New York City
  • Toronto
  • Rome
  • Portugal, Esperança
  • Rio de Janeiro
  • Gothenburg
  • Monte Carlo
  • India 

It has also been confirmed that New York City and Rio will be hybrid maps. This means that both will focus on the capture the point-based Assault feature before transitioning into an Escort objective when the first checkpoint is taken. Toronto and Rome will also be Push focused.

During the Overwatch 2: Reveal Event on June 16, 2022, it was also revealed that a new map will be released with every new season that comes with the game. You can see a general idea of the roadmap right down below.
