Free Access will be able to play various multiplayer playlists and new maps recently added to the game. The two new maps introduced in Season 2 last month were Casablanca, a medium-sized map taking place in Morocco, and Gondola, which offers long sightlines and close combat within the power plant.

Free Access players can play the new Arms Race mode, which launched last week, where two teams fight over five bases in the Alps to capture and control. Players earn cash for completing objectives or dropped from defeated enemies and can spend it at friendly bases for weapons, equipment, Killstreaks, or custom loadouts.

There will also be a multiplayer playlist for Free Access players that contains the standard modes such as Domination, Control, and Hardpoint. Maps in that playlist include Call of Duty classic Shipment alongside other maps like Das Haus, Hotel Royale, Dome, and Radar.

Call of Duty: Vanguard launched for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One late last year. The game is currently in the middle of Season 2 alongside Call of Duty: Warzone, and players will be able to play as rapper Snoop Dogg in both games next month.
