Getting the Seed of Mastery in Pokemon Legends Arceus

The Seed of Mastery is a pretty crucial item in Pokemon Legends Arceus, especially if you’re looking to help your Pokemon master moves so that they can use them in the Agile or Strong Style in battle. The game never explicitly tells you how to get them either, so we’re here to help you out.

At the time of writing, there are only two ways of getting a Seed of Mastery, as listed below:

  • Getting them as drops from defeating or catching Pokemon
  • Completing the Coming Up Roses request

The following Pokemon have a chance of dropping a Seed of Mastery when you catch them or beat them in battle:

  • Roserade
  • Abra
  • Rapidash
  • Vespiquen
  • Snorlax
  • Electivire
  • Staravia
  • Mismagius
  • Ninetales
  • Blissey
  • Kricketune
  • Rhyperior
  • Yanmega
  • Dusknoir
  • Goodra

The Coming Up Roses request can only be unlocked once you’ve gotten the ability to surf, and you can accept it by talking to the NPC located on Ramanas Island in the Obsidian Fieldlands. This request tasks you with capturing a Scyther, which can be found pretty easily in the Heartwood area. So if you’re looking to score an easy Seed of Mastery, this is a good way to go.

How to Use It

As mentioned before, the Seed of Mastery can be used on a Pokemon to help them master a move.

  1. Speak with the captain of the Security Corps back at Jubilife Village, near the training area.

  2. Choose a Pokemon that you want to train, then select the move that you want to master.

  3. Confirm your selection with the A button, and you’ll unlock the Agile and Strong Styles for that move for your chosen Pokemon.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Seed of Mastery in Pokemon Legends Arceus. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
