Catching Croagunk

Before you can evolve it, you’ve first got to catch a Croagunk.

It can be found in Gapejaw Bog, Scarlet Bog and Holm of Trials in the Crimson Mirelands location as a relatively common spawn.

It also spawns at the Ancient Quarry in the Coronet Highlands if you want to try your luck here instead.

Evolving Croagunk in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Croagunk evolves into Toxicroak at level 37 in Pokemon Legends Arceus.

Keep Croagunk in your party until it’s reached level 37. At this point, press up on the d-pad to bring up your Satchel, select Croagunk and press X to ‘Evolve.’

You’ll need to confirm you want to do this by choosing the ‘Do It!’ option that pops up once Croagunk is selected. A short animation will play out and your Croagunk will evolve into Toxicroak.

Fortunately, you don’t need any specific items or conditions to cause it to evolve. Similarly, it’s worth noting that if you forget to evolve it when it reaches level 37, you can do it at any point from once it reaches this level. This is just a minimum requirement.
