Is Elden Ring Crossplay? Answered

Unfortunately, Elden Ring does not currently support crossplay with other consoles. This means that if your friend is on Xbox and you’re on PlayStation, you won’t be able to team up together and go adventuring, and vice-versa.

To be honest, crossplay between different console manufacturers isn’t exactly guaranteed these days, so the fact that it’s not supported by Elden Ring is pretty much par for the course.

Does Elden Ring Support Cross-Gen Play?

Thankfully, Elden Ring does support cross-generational play. In other words, if you’re playing on PS4 and your friend is on PS5, then you’ll be able to team up and play some co-op together. The same applies to the Xbox versions of the game, too.

For example, if your friend is on Xbox One and you’re on Xbox Series X|S, you’ll be able to join up and venture forth into the brutal world of Elden Ring together.

But that’s about everything you need to know about whether Elden Ring is crossplay compatible. For more tips, tricks, and guides, search for Twinfinite, or head on over to our dedicated wiki for the game.
