How to Equip Sorcery Spells and Magic in Elden Ring

When it comes to wielding the magical arts in Elden Ring, it is broken up into two main components. First of all, you will have to either possess the spell from questing or finding it in the world, or purchase it from the vendors that are well-versed in sorcery.

  1. Find spells/incantations for sale from vendors to purchase.

  2. Head to a Site of Grace, and enter the Memorize Spells menu.

Choose the spells that you want to equip and confirm your selection. If you want to equip more spells, you may need to increase your Memory slots by obtaining Memory Stones.

  3. Use your selected spells in Elden Ring.

Do note that if you’re using Sorcery, for instance, you’ll also need to equip a staff in an armament slot to use them. The Astrologer class starts with a staff, but you can also get them as enemy drops.

Once you have done everything, this will let you equip two different spells at the start, and more slots can be opened up with Memory Stones. These are obviously rare items, and can be either found in the world or purchased from certain vendors.
