Unlocking the Paraglider in Dying Light 2

Time needed: 10 hours

  1. Advance the main story of Dying Light 2 till you get to the Waltz.

    Depending on how much you grind side missions and other activities, you’ll end up receiving the paraglider in Dying Light 2 about 10 hours into the main story.

  2. Escape from the Walz through the Metro system.

  3. Reach the Downtown area and talk to Lawan.

    Lawan will give you the paraglider, immediately tasking you with paragliding from one building to another.

To actually use the paraglider, press Square or X while in the air. While gliding, you can also hold backward on the stick to increase your glide distance and generally steady the glide.

While it may take a little bit of getting used to in terms of knowing how to adjust the distance, you’ll get the hang of gliding around in no time. As you’ll discover, there are plumes of hot air that rise from some chimneys and pipes across the Downtown area which can be used to increase your glide and restore stamina.
