While most of the best weapons and gear can actually be scavenged across the open world and during missions in Techland’s new RPG, it’s always handy to have a decent stock of money available to simply buy things. Here’s how to get money fast and easy in Dying Light 2 so that your wallet is always nice and fat!
How to Get Money in Dying Light 2 Fast & Easy
Selling Items & Weapons
If you have played Dying Light 2 for any length of time at all then you will have appreciated there is a lot of loot to scavenge, and this should perhaps give you your first clue as to how to earn money quickly: scavenge valuable miscellaneous resources (such as cigarettes and Crystal Cores) simply by searching and picking up everything you find as you explore the open world, then sell them off at vendors.
Note that Crystal Cores are especially valuable and they can be found in any location that is saturated with the fluorescent yellow GRE chemicals. They are pictured above.
In addition to selling miscellaneous resources, unwanted weapons and gear can also be sold to merchants at safe zones such as the Bazaar, Fisheye, and various Peacekeeper compounds you’ll discover in Villedor.
Take Side Quests & Complete Encounters
Similar to many other RPGs, Dying Light 2 also rewards you with currency for completing many of the game’s main and side quests, and so you’ll both naturally garner money throughout the story. To earn cash faster, make sure you’re taking on side quests in addition to the main storyline missions.
There are also random encounters (indicated by blue quest markers) that typically reward you with small amounts of money for completing. These, for example, might require you to help a survivor struggling against a group of Renegade thugs or zombies.
That’s everything you should need to know about how long Dying Light 2 takes to beat. For more tips and tricks on the game, do be sure to check out Twinfinite’s detailed wiki page. You should also see some related content below that may prove useful.
