Between zombies, peacekeepers, and renegades, the city of Villedor is a hostile place, and even an experienced Pilgrim isn’t going to survive without a scratch here and there. That means you’ll need to know how to heal and increase your health in Dying Light 2 if you’re going to beat the game. Here’s what you need to know.
How to Heal in Dying Light 2
Healing in Dying Light 2 simply requires you to use one of several different consumable items you have either scavenged, purchased, or crafted. These include Medicine, Medkits, or Health Regeneration Boosters.
To use one, simply open your menu and equip one from the inventory page (under consumables), and you should then see it equipped to your quick menu once back in-game. From there, it’s just a case of pressing X/A to use.
Increasing Your Health in Dying Light 2
Along with Stamina, Health is one of two major attributes for Aiden that you’ll be upgrading throughout the game. For every three Inhibitors you collect, you are given a choice as to whether to increase one or the other.
Inhibitors are found throughout the world –typically, inside GRE containers that are found at GRE Facilities or Anomaly locations. There are only 126 inhibitors in total, so you’ll need to manage using them to upgrade Health and Stamina appropriately.
How to Increase Your Health:
- Collect three inhibitors by scavenging GRE Containers and other locations (such as safes).
- Go to the ‘Skills’ menu and select the little + icon at the bottom center of the screen, underneath the ‘Upgrades Available’ section.
- Press and hold X over the + icon and you can increase your health for three Inhibitors.
