How to Change Pokemon Moves in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Instead of the standard move rules that are present in almost every other Pokemon game, Legends Arceus offers much more freedom in terms of what you can do with a Pokemon’s move set.

In this game, you can freely swap moves in and out as you see fit. To do this, open up your Satchel menu by pressing Up on the D-Pad, then press A on the Pokemon you wish to change. A small menu will pop up with the Change Moves option. Select it to begin your customization.

The list on the left side of the screen will contain all of the moves a Pokemon has learned as it grows. They won’t disappear or be deleted if you choose not to equip them right away.

Pokemon can still only know four moves at a time, but with this new menu, they can be changed to prepare for any situation. this is especially useful when you know that the party will be going up against specific threats in the wild, or other people in battles.

So, to summarize, here’s how to rename your Pokemon:

  1. Open up the Satchel menu.

  2. Press A to choose a Pokemon.

  3. Select the Change Name option from the pop-up menu.
