Halo Infinite has finally arrived, bringing a well-rounded package of excellent single-player action in the campaign, and a moreish multiplayer mode which brings the series’ classic arena shooter action into the present day. Of course, those shiny graphics, and various maps and game modes require data, and data takes up storage space. Here’s everything you need to know about what the Halo Infinite download and install size is on both Xbox consoles and PC.
Halo Infinite Install Size
Halo Infinite’s install size on Xbox Series X is 74.3 GB and on PC it’ll come in at 100 GB. These numbers come directly from our console, which has the campaign preloaded at 48.4 GB for the campaign and 25.9 GB for the multiplayer, and from the game’s Steam pages (50 GB for Campaign and 50 GB for multiplayer), revealing the minimum space required on your PC’s storage device to install the game.
This comprises both the campaign and multiplayer sections of Halo Infinite, which are available to download separately from the likes of the Xbox Game Pass library, but can be accessed from the same app and within the in-game menu.
It’s worth noting that the Halo Infinite install size is likely to change, with future updates to both the multiplayer and campaign sections of the game — such as additional maps and the hotly anticipated co-op campaign functionality — likely to add significant amounts of data to the install size.
These will come as updates at a currency undisclosed time and date, however, and we don’t know how large these updates will be, and the extent of the effect they may have on the game’s overall footprint on your system’s storage.
