If you know anything about this Pokemon, you know that if they are to appear, they generally are one to hang out in or around ruins. It’s just kind of their thing, I guess. There are plenty of them to catch, so getting at least one is no problem whatsoever. Just please don’t use it in battle.

There probably aren’t too many people out there who try to catch Unown for its physical prowess. It has 336 base stats, which is absolutely pathetic, and can only use one move: Hidden Power. Unown is probably the only Pokemon that Magicarp could hope to defeat.

The main reason people try to catch Unown is to attempt to complete the Pokemon alphabet — a fun thing to hunt for. Essentially, every Unown is shaped like a letter of the English alphabet, and some people try and get all of the characters if they can.
