Evolving Togetic into Togekiss in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Togepi is easily one of the cutest Pokemon in the entire franchise, and its evolutions are pretty damn adorable too. It’s not too hard getting Togepi to level up and evolve into Togetic, but getting it to evolve into Togekiss requires a bit more effort on your part.

All you need to do is find a Shiny Stone, have your Togetic hold it, and it’ll evolve into Togekiss when it levels up.

Finding the Shiny Stone

There are two ways you can get the Shiny Stone: either by picking it up at the Iron Island or getting it by chance with a Pokemon that has the Pickup ability.

If you have a Pokemon in your party with the Pickup ability, it’ll occasionally be able to find things on the ground for you, and that thing could very well be a Shiny Stone. Make sure that the Pokemon isn’t already holding an item, though, or you won’t get anything that way.

Getting Togepi

Finally, if you’re interested in getting a Togekiss but don’t actually have a Togetic yet, you could always just catch a Togepi and level it up from there. You’ll need to capture it in the Grand Underground, however.

Use the Explorer’s Kit to head into the Grand Underground, and make your way to the Dazzling Cave or the Fountainspring Cave to try to get it to spawn. Togepi’s spawn rate is fairly low, so you might need to reset the room a few times to get it to show up.

That’s all you need to know about how to evolve Togetic into Togekiss in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
