With Activision and Sledgehammer Games‘ popular online shooter Call of Duty: Vanguard finally out and on store shelves, many of you may be wondering if it’s possible to hook up an extra controller with a friend and get some split-screen couch co-op action on the go. In this guide, we’ll discuss whether there is split-screen in Call of Duty: Vanguard. So, without further ado, let’s get into it, shall we?
Is There Split-Screen in Call of Duty: Vanguard? Answered
We’ll cut right to the chase: Yes, there is indeed split-screen in Vanguard. However, there’s a catch as it’s not available in all game modes.
What Game Modes Support Split-Screen?
Much like 2020’s Black Ops Cold War, all core Multiplayer team-based modes, like Domination and Team Deathmatch, do indeed support split-screen.
However, there is currently no split-screen support in the ‘Der Anfang’ Zombies mode at launch. Hopefully, this will be added in a free update, much like last year. For now, though, you’ll have to make do with teaming up online if you want to play co-op with friends in the Zombies mode this year.
How to Play Split-Screen in Vanguard on Console
Playing split-screen with a friend on the couch is pretty straightforward. All you’ll need to do is turn on a second controller and log into your friend’s profile. If your friend doesn’t have a profile yet, logging in as a Guest should work as well.
Can PC Players Play Split-Screen?
Unfortunately, no. Only console players have access to the split-screen feature at the moment. PC players, on the other hand, do not have access to any split-screen modes, at the time of writing.
And that’s everything you need to know about the split-screen options in Call of Duty: Vanguard. For more tips and tricks, search for Twinfinite or check out more of our coverage on the game below.
