How to Get the Platinum Outfits

The Platinum outfits are what the player character (either Lucas or Dawn depending on which gender is selected) wore in Pokemon Platinum on the DS. These outfits differed from what they wore in the original releases of Pokemon Diamond & Pearl.

Lucas’s Platinum outfit consists of a blue jacket, white scarf, and black pants. Dawn’s Platinum outfit consists of a pink dress, white scarf, pink boots, and white socks.

To obtain these special outfits, you’ll first need to make sure your game is updated to the latest version.

Then, navigate to the Mystery Gift menu, and then Get via Internet. Select which gift you wish to receive, and it will automatically be saved to your game.

If Mystery Gift is not an option, you’ll need to progress a little bit further into the game.

To wear the outfits, you can head to the Metronome Style Shop in Veilstone City to change your clothes.

You have the ability to redeem the Platinum outfits for a limited time until Feb. 21, 2022. After this, they will no longer be available to obtain via the Mystery Gift function.
