The good news is that if you screw up and don’t catch the Drifloon on your first try in Pokemon Brilliant & Shining Pearl, you can always try again the next week. Drifloon respawns each and every Friday in front of the Valley Windworks once you’ve beaten Mars here.

The bad news is that if you beat Team Galactic and Mars at the Valley Windworks on a Friday, you’ll then need to wait until the next Friday for Drifloon to appear. You can always change the time and date on your Nintendo Switch, but there is a 24-hour time penalty.

You’ll need to set your time to 10:00am on a Thursday and then wait 24 hours without changing the time on your Nintendo Switch. This will then make it 10:01am on Friday morning and you should have another Drifloon waiting to be caught when you load up Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/ Shining Pearl.
