To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Xbox console, Microsoft surprise-released Halo Infinite’s multiplayer yesterday, allowing players to experience a beta version of the content well before the original release date. Due to the surprise, fans will likely have a lot of questions they want to be answered so they can properly prepare or play the game, especially when it comes to the game modes that are available. Here is everything you need to know about all multiplayer game modes in Halo Infinite.

Anyone who’s ever played Halo before will be familiar with the following game modes, as Halo Infinite brings back some classic multiplayer madness for the beta. It should be noted that there will be more updates to not only the actual modes that are available but also customization and matchmaking for them when the full game becomes available too.

Currently, only variations of Arena and Big Team Battle are available to play. We will be sure to update this list accordingly when the full game is released. For now, you can check out the full list of multiplayer game modes below.

Arena (4v4):

  • One Flag CTF
  • CTF
  • Strongholds
  • Oddball
  • Slayer

Big Team Battle (12v12):
