Just like in previous Battlefield games, players will have their hands full when it comes to weapon selection. Alongside getting to choose primary weapons, like assault rifles, snipers, and LMGs, there are also secondary and special weapons.

When you’re fighting an enemy in Battlefield 2042, sometimes it is better to just switch to these other weapons instead of reloading. More often than not, this will save you time that would otherwise mean the difference between killing your opponent and being killed.

How to Change Weapons in Battlefield 2042

All you need to do to change your weapon is press triangle on PlayStation, Y on Xbox, and 1/2 or mouse scroll on PC. Pressing this button multiple times will allow you to cycle through all of the weapons you have on you.
