Loaded up Riders Republic and found yourself wondering just what that Zen Mode is? Fear not, we’ve hopped into it to find the answer for you. Here’s everything you need to know about the Riders Republic Zen Mode, from how it works and what’s different compared to the standard career mode.
What Is Zen Mode?
Simply put, Zen Mode allows you to freely explore the world of Riders Republic. You can fast travel to any places you wish to explore with the use of helicopter drops, which can be great for finding a particular spot to create your own challenge, or just to mess about with friends.
It’s worth noting, however, that this freedom on the map comes with a caveat. Whenever you play in Zen Mode, your progression is disabled, meaning you won’t tick off challenges, earn more cosmetics, or complete Sponsor challenges.
Essentially, think of Zen Mode as a sandbox for all your creative ideas. It’s also an offline mode, meaning you won’t have other random players getting in your way or flying around the world with those Rocketwings.
How to Play Riders Republic Zen Mode
To play Zen Mode, simply select it from the main menu when you first load up the game. From our time with the game, we did not see a way to quickly change to Zen Mode from when you’re playing the standard Career Mode.
Once you’ve selected the mode, you’ll be loaded into the map. You can now press the touchpad/view button to open up the map and select where you want to fast travel to. You also won’t have any ‘fog’ on the map obscuring your view of events and the terrain.
