New World: How to Get Minor Rune of Holding

minor rune of holding

Amazon Games’ first MMORPG features a robust crafting system that allows you to forge all sorts of different materials, gear, and weapons. Of course, that requires a huge amount of resource farming and then carrying those resources to and from a settlement for the purposes of crafting. For those looking to maximize the amount they can carry, you’ll want to increase your inventory size as soon as possible. That’s where one particular rune comes in handy. Here’s how to get the Minor Rune of Holding in New World.

You can purchase a Minor Rune of Holding from your faction quest giver at any settlement. It costs 1,000 units of faction tokens, which means you will need to complete several faction quests to earn enough to get one. Low-level faction quests typically reward you with around 250 units of faction tokens, so it shouldn’t take too long.

Once you have enough, simply select the ‘Buy Rewards’ option from the faction quest giver and scroll down until you find the rune.

The Minor Rune of Holding can be used to create an Adventurer’s Satchel of various different tiers, but the basic Coarse Leather variant increases your inventory capacity by 80-180. Note that in addition to the rune you will need the aforementioned coarse leather, linen, and iron ingots. All of these are refined materials from basic resources, such as leather, hemp fiber, and iron ore.
