Today third-party developers announced two new airports coming for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The first is Kerry Airport (EIKY) in Ireland by IniScene. While it’s not a massive hub, it hosts quite a few scheduled flights operated by Ryanair.
It’ll be priced at $13.75 plus applicable VAT.
Below you can see a gallery of screenshots and read an official features list.
- Level of Detail (LOD) optimisation for every model to encourage the best performance possible
- Compiled and optimised for Xbox Series X and S
- Custom airside and landside ground polygons with accurate texturing
- Corrected tree masking on airport surrounds
- Hand placed, in-house designed car models, light posts, vegetation and buildings
- Taxi signs as they are in the real world
- Bespoke airside rendition with bespoke objects and ground markings
Next is JustSim, which announced Linz Airport (LOWL) in Austria. Again, it’s a relatively small airport, but it features Lufthansa and Eurowings flights to Germany, on top of a few seasonal ones to various holiday destinations.
