Getting More Outfits in Guardians of the Galaxy

First, for those who pre-ordered Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s worth noting that you’ll actually have some outfits available to unlock and wear right off the bat. Make sure you have linked your Square Enix account with your pre-order and then cycle through the available outfit options to equip them — more on that process below.

New clothing options are scattered fairly generously across lots of different levels in the game. They are indicated by purple little boxes, which are typically found off the beaten path, so make sure you’re exploring every nook and cranny if you’re interested in finding them.

Once you have an outfit to equip –either because you have found it or if you have one due to having pre-ordered the game–, to change clothes, open the Guardians’ menu with the touchpad/ view button, and then select the Guardian who you would like to customize.
