Tales of Arise is out now and you may have noticed that items in shops can get expensive when trying to provide for a whole party. If you’re short on gald, we can help you out. Here’s how to get gald fast in Tales of Arise.
Getting Gald Fast in Tales of Arise
Completing Sub-Quests
Completing sub-quests is one of the fastest ways to earn gald in this game. These side missions are indicated by envelope icons on the map and they’re usually easy to do. Many of them are fetch quests or “kill X monster” quests that can be done quickly.
Occasionally, you’ll be asked to take out a giant zeugle that’s way above your level, so you can save those for later. But outside of those quests, everything else should be fairly simple to complete and you’ll be rewarded with generous amounts of gald and Skill Points (SP) for your troubles, especially later in the game.
Farming Dog Tags
Outside of sub-quests, you can farm Renan guards in any dungeon that they appear in. When you defeat Renan guards they drop Dog Tag items that can be sold for a good amount of gald to any merchant in Tales of Arise. The further in the story you are, the better the Dog Tags. You can even cook certain foods to increase drops as well.
Dungeons like Riville Tower in Cyslodia, Autelina Palace in Menancia, and Almeidrea’s ship contain plenty of Renan guards to fight. And if you exit a room/floor then re-enter, they respawn. You can farm Dog Tags to your heart’s content in these areas while also gaining levels and SP.
