Developed by Amazon Games, New World is a brand new pirate-themed MMORPG set in a world called Aeturnum. Players will have the ability to join up with different factions, go to war with each other, and explore a gigantic world with tons of monsters to fight and expeditions to embark on. All of this combat will eventually wear out your gear, so here’s how to repair equipment in New World.
Repairing Equipment in New World
Like in most games and MMORPGs, your weapons and armor will decrease in durability over time, especially as you’re continuously going on adventures and slaying thousands of monsters and enemies. When your durability wears out, your gear will become basically useless, so you’ll want to prevent that by repairing it when needed.
To do this, bring up your inventory by pressing the Tab key, select a piece of equipment and click it, then select the Repair option. However, you’ll need to spend a bit of gold and use a Repair Part in order to repair it. The amount of gold will depend on how low your durability is, so if it’s about to break, it’ll cost you a lot more.
That being said, it’s definitely worth waiting till the durability is almost depleted before repairing, as you’ll need to use a Repair Part no matter what. Repair Parts can be obtained by salvaging equipment, so if you can’t sell something off, you can always salvage it from your inventory, and put those materials to good use.
You can repair your gear pretty much at any time in the game, so make sure to always check your durability while you’re out adventuring.
