A new 3D Kirby game was announced today at the September 2021 Nintendo Direct titled Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
The game, which was briefly shown during the presentation, shows an apparently stranded Kirby, exploring what looks to be a mysteriously abandoned island filled with diverse settings including city and island areas.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land looked gorgeous in the brief time it was shown and featured a few classic enemies and powers such as Needle, Sword, Fire, Ice, and Cutter. The game will be fully 3D and will allow Kirby to freely move around.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land will launch in Spring 2022 on the Nintendo Switch.
