Video game enthusiasts have been waiting with bated breath for Rockstar Games to reveal its next Grand Theft Auto game, but once again they’ll be disappointed to see the developer didn’t have anything to share about GTAVI during Sony’s latest State of Play event. Instead, it was a proper first look at GTAV’s next-generation update.
Touting improved graphics and performance, as well as “enhanced gameplay,” GTAV’s next-generation update is coming in March of next year across Xbox Series X|S and PS5. It will, of course, include the game’s wildly popular multiplayer mode, GTA Online. Check it out below.
Sony’s PS Blog highlights some additional information GTAV players should find interesting regarding bonuses for the game’s multiplayer mode in the build-up to launch:
To help get ready for launch, new and existing PlayStation Plus members can still take advantage of additional bonuses including GTA$1,000,000* every month for the PlayStation 4 version of GTA Online until the game launches on PlayStation 5 in March 2022.
