Fortnite: How to Confront the Mole (Week 14 Challenge)

Here we are, the 14th and final week of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. Like every week before it, players have the chance to earn some XP for their Battle Pass by completing the epic and legendary challenges. After warning characters of impending doom, placing warning signs, shutting down power to radar dishes and spoiling the mole’s sabotage attempt, it’s finally time to confront the mole in Fortnite. If you’ve not yet figured out who it is, fear not, as this guide will show you exactly where to go and who it is you need to talk to.

Confronting the Mole in Fortnite – Week 14 Challenge

To confront the mole, you’ll need to head to Dinky Dish, located between Steamy Stacks and Craggy Cliffs. We’ve marked it on the map below:

Once you arrive here, you want to head inside the main building and look for the Maven NPC walking around. All you now need to do is interact with them by pressing X/ Square/ E/ Y and you’ll begin talking to them.

You should now have the option appear to confront them, allowing you to complete this questline and earn 30,000 XP. It also nicely sets the stage for the end-of-season event taking place this weekend, on Sept. 12.

It turns out that Maven has been the mole within the IO this whole time, and she’s been feeding info to the invading aliens in the hopes it’d save her own skin. She’s been trying to sabotage Slone and the IO’s plans to defend the island from the aliens for a good while now, but thanks to your help in the weekly challenges, you’ve managed to stop her before it was too late.
