Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 has arrived, bringing with it the end of the alien invasion, and ringing in the era of The Cube. That’s right Kevin’s back and he’s brought a bunch of his friends with him to run riot across the Fortnite island. It’s going to be down to players once again to band together (amidst all the killing one another) to save the island from definite destruction. While it may have only just begun, we know that you’re likely already wondering just what the Fortnite Season 8 end date is, and when the new Season 9 may begin. Here’s everything you need to know.
When Does Fortnite Season 8 End?
According to the Battle Pass screen in-game, the Fortnite Season 8 end date is currently slated for Dec. 5.
That means you’ve got 12 weeks to grind out as much XP, levels and Battle Stars as possible if you’re wanting to get the Carnage skin.
It also means that the season will run over the course of Halloween, which seems fitting given the current spooky theme that The Sideways areas of the game have introduced.
Fortnite Season 9 Start Date
With Fortnite Season 8 currently set to end on Dec. 5, it’s likely that Fortnite Season 9 will begin the following day on Dec. 6.
That being said, Epic Games has been known to change the duration of Fortnite season by adding overtime challenges to give fans a little longer to grind out Battle Stars and grab the remaining cosmetics from the Battle Pass. If this happens, we’ll update this post to keep you in the loop.
That’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite Season 8 end date. For more tips, tricks and guides on the current season, be sure to check out more of our coverage on the new season below, or search for Twinfinite for all your other video game needs.
