Sometimes pace and strength aren’t enough to charge past the defender, and you’ll need to show a bit of finesse to send them the wrong way and skill past them. The heel to heel flick is one such skill move that can leave defender’s dead in their tracks in FIFA 22, so here’s how to do it.

How to Heel to Heel Flick in FIFA 22

To do this, simply flick the right analog stick in the direction your player is running in, and then back in the opposite direction.

For example, if you’re playing was running to the right, you’d flick the right analog stick right and then left.

It’s worth noting that not every player can do this skill move in FIFA 22, though. Every player has a skills rating out of five stars.

To do a heel to heel flick in FIFA 22, your player needs to have at least four stars. If they don’t, no matter how hard you try they won’t be able to pull off the move.

What Is a Heel to Heel Flick?

You may have seen players do this against you online in FIFA 21 or in other previous titles in the series.

It’s the skill move that sees your player backheel the ball from their leading foot, before flicking it back forward with their trailing foot’s heel.

It’s a great way of quickly slipping past the opposing team’s defense, but you’ll want to make sure the opposition’s player isn’t already too close to your player when doing this or they’ll intercept the ball.

The heel to heel flick is best used when you’re in the penalty area, particularly when making a diagonal run through the box. This will free up a bunch of space around your player, making it easier for you to get a shot on goal off.
