How to Evolve Pins in NEO: The World Ends With You

All Pins are associated with different powers called psychs, and when you equip a Pin to one of your team members, they can use the associated psych in battle.

Pins that can evolve will let you know that they can. You can check a Pin’s element, power, type, growth rate, and more details in the Pin menu. The information will be there. If a Pin can evolve, equip it to one of your characters and use it in combat often to level it up.

Pins level up faster in Chain Reaction Battles that pit you against stronger Noise enemies. These battles also add a multiplier for drops, so you can earn even more Pins when you start Chain Reaction Battles.

Once a Pin that can evolve reaches max level in NEO: TWEWY, the game will ask you if you want to evolve it on the results screen after a fight. Simply select “yes.” However, some Pins have special hidden conditions to evolve.

If you make a Social Network connection with a girl named Marino Orihara on Week 3 Day 6, her Evolutionary Secrets ability will allow you to see the conditions to make certain Pins evolve.
